I'm wearing my Princess Tiara and practicing my acceptance speech.

"I would like to thank my parents for raising me to intimately understand humour and humiliation."
"I would like to thank  my children for being a continual source of entertainment (inadvertently)."
"I would like to thank my employer for paying me enough to afford the internet."
"I would like to thank my friends for continually warning me that my posts are going to land my children in jail or, have Children's Aid or the SPCA fighting for first crack at me."

"I would like to thank Laurie, my nominator, for calling me in the middle of the night and playing the Guess What I Did Game? with me."  Who shows her these websites?  Honestly.

I have been nominated in two categories:  Best Canadian Blog (my competition is stiff; they know way more than I do), and Funniest Blog (well, same).

I am thrilled, nonetheless.
